I am a Research Scientist at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), working in the CEMSE Division at the Center of Excellence for Generative AI, in the group of Prof. Peter Wonka. My research focuses on deep learning, with an emphasis on generative modeling and spatial reasoning in large language models.

I received my B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from TU Wien, where I was supervised by Prof. Michael Wimmer. I joined KAUST in 2019 as a Postdoctoral Fellow and was promoted to Research Scientist in 2022.

Outside of research, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids — and I am on a perpetual quest to perfect my homemade pizza.
